The Maintenance Worker assists with general maintenance and repairs on the physical facilities, grounds and equipment for Groton Community Health Care Center.
Tasks include completion of various maintenance and repair requests including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Requirements:
High School Education or equivalent; one or two years general maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, heating); must have mechanical aptitude.
Must have the ability to push, pull, & carry objects of at least 50 lbs.
; the ability to use hand/power tools associated with building and grounds maintenance; and the ability to crouch, kneel, stoop, reach and turn in cramped spaces.
Job tasks take place indoors and outside in all types of weather.
